i wanted to know if I am hired before this school year lets out for the upcoming school year, when will I began to get paid? I am trying to figure out if I will need to plan to work this Summer to cover my personal finances.

K I like getting paid once a month. You always have enough to pay the bills when due. :-) Or at least, I did.

ms.diaz I teach in California. I was hired in July, school started in August and I didn't get paid until October 1st! I was totally expecting a paycheck September 1 so I was floored when I found out I had to go another month without a paycheck. I don't understand how the district expects people to work a month a half with no pay. Obviously, I'll still get ...See More
