It is clear the Republicans do not have a plan that will make health care in America better. The plan that just failed would have created more uninsured and would have skyrocketed the number of preventable deaths.

Yet, we should not pretend that Obamacare is the answer. It is not, and it too will fail! The best explanation of why Obamacare must be replaced - and the only viable option is Medicare for All - is found in the following quote from the "American Journal of Public Health."

(Quote)

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) extended coverage to 20 million and boosted funding for public health and community health centers. But it offered little help to 90&37; of the population, perpetuated a dysfunctional health care financing system, left 26 million uninsured, saddled covered families with unaffordable deductibles and narrow provider networks, and enriched drug firms, medical conglomerates, and insurers.

Notice how many teachers on this site over the years told us that their own children were in private schools. If you live in a wealthy, middle class neighborhood with many educated parents, it goes without saying that the public...See More

T.E.C. - Iowa Want to know something that is annoying! I have shown that a review of the study offered by AW showed that the study was flawed. Now Cha Cha comes to AW's defense with " Any 'peer review' is suspect for this reason (they do not want competition)."

So Cha Cha has lead us to the same place all of these conservative arguments go. Th...See More
