Hi all, I've been staying away because this past year has been very challenging and I didn't want to get ripped to shreds for venting. So, here's the good news. I did survive the year. Four of my six students became beginning readers. (Bob Rose, they cannot write the alphabet, either, due to their physical disabilities. Amazing isn't it?) They have a way to go, but I am thrilled. Their next year's teacher will have so much fun with them. My classroom has been dissolved and their will only be two self-contained classrooms. My paras will move with the students to the next class as the paras in that class have retired. That will be a great help to the teacher. I am planning on subbing in the self- contained elementary classrooms. I know the curriculum and the Direct of Special Ed has kept my account open so I can access it when I am subbing. I will probably not be posting much, as in the past, due to the politics of this site. I miss my old friends and do wish them the best. Kathy
Kathy to Bob Rose You, sir, are an idiot! You didn't even read my post, did you? Kathy
