What do you do when you are the special education teacher for a school, and you think a student should be tested for dyslexia, but you are advised against it? The school is a charter that doesn't have the means to test for dyslexia. The student has an eligibility of learning disability and dyslexia is included in the umbrella term for that category.

If the parents understand the depth of their child's learning disability, you may be able to encourage them ask for an eva...See More

Valerie Jenn,Thank you for your reply, I think you are correct that it was about money and at the time I wasn't sure if I wanted to challenge administration.

AM to Bob This seems to be your answer for every problem from reading to not being able to shower in a timely fashion. What is it you are working on or doing that you want everyone to try this same thing for every challenge? It might help us understand why you suggest this for everything if we understood your motivation.
