I am subbing in a primary autism classroom until the find a teacher or for 4 weeks, whichever comes first. I have no schedule yet, so will be punting on Monday. Lesson plans will include Welcome Back activities, introducing the classroom routine, and learning how to work in centers. There are 7 children, K-2. There are 3 paras. I haven't met any of them. The autism team will be there to help get things going and provide direct instruction for at least the first week. Kathy
casey Good luck. I am in my 2nd year of unretired..working as PPT Chair part time (but really full time for part time pay). Only because I adore my administration and love my school. The kids are lucky to have you.

Kathy I just finished day 4 of this subbing job. They did hire a new teacher for the position. She will start next week. The special ed administrator asked me to stay on next week and be her mentor.
