Before choosing a destination, there are many factors that come into play when deciding on doing a field trip or educational tour. Yes, there are tons of companies out there, but what do you need to consider before choosing? Here are a few *unbiased* pointers: - How long have they been in business? - Do they have or are they insured? - What type of travel do they offer? Student? Adult? - Are they an exclusive student travel company? - How many employees? - What are their refund policies? - What is said on internet (reviews)? - What is their goal or vision (money or education)? - What destinations do they offer? - Do they offer 24 hr, online or phone support? - Do they provide "pre-trip" support? - What's included in the each trip? - Do they have references?
