I model using words they might not know and explaining the words - I'll write it on the board and leave it there for a while and that reminds me to work it into the 'conversation' again and it's a reminder to the students as well.

Dianne Conelly I recently discovered an online program called LearnThatWord, that has this new concept of only charging when students learn something. The program itself is free, and you get a deposit of credits (100 credits - school, 5 credits - each student) for an extended trial.
