I am thinking about incubating and hatching chicken eggs in my 1st grade classroom. Has anyone had luck with it and have some advise for me as to how to start?

Karen Thank you for your encouraging words and the advise. Since I first posted, someone pulled an incubator from a pile that was going to a rummage sale. She didn't even know I was considering doing it, but thought I was the kind of teacher who might just be interested. She was right! :)

Angelle I have hatched in not only my own, but other classrooms as well with great success. I have always used an incubator with automatic turner and followed all the directions. I currently have (and can recommend) the Brinsea Mini Advance.
