We are inviting teachers to submit an essay reflecting on any one
aspect of their lives as teachers. We are doing this because as former
K-12 teachers
we believe teachers’ voices are greatly undervalued. We believe that
the first hand wisdom of practicing teachers can really help the
profession
apart from being enjoyable to read and fun to write.
Essays ranging from 1,000-5,000 words could address one of the
following topics:
1) How I got started as a teacher and why I am pleased/not pleased I
made the decision to teach.
2) The joys and disappointments of teaching.
3) Best moments teaching more than compensate for the rest
4) Look back in anger/regret/ joy at this period of my life
5) Propose another topic to us!
All submissions will qualify for one ebook that we will send applicants
