Glad the board is approaching normal again! WHEW rough
couple of weeks.

After a heat wave last week all of a sudden it is cool and
nice and maybe even going to rain. I noticed one of my maple
trees turning really pretty red. Kind of early for Calif.

The 2nd house remodel had more problems, dry rot so I
replaced the entire east side, new windows, fire damage
lap siding with new pine, and new T-11 siding, new trim,
repaired the foundation vent openings. Over a 103 degrees a
couple of days. Really too hot and too much. At least it was
on the shady side of the house. Yesterday was a caulk day
filling any gaps or holes or nail dents. Today is a paint
day doing the grooves on the vertical siding.

The new vinyl E-glass windows are so nice. I have replaced
six out of eight windows. I had to reframe the wall on a
couple of them as the fire remodel was poorly done.

That is all behind me now, just down to the last lap of the
mile run and is all good now!

Retirement is good
