For those that have subbed or thought about subbing, I
noticed in another post that some subs could earn $180 per day.
In the district I moved in to, they only pay $65 per day. I
moved from a district that paid $100 per day. I had thought
I might sub, but after they take out taxes and whatever
else, I think that it is not enough pay to put up with other
teachers' students.
What does the sub pay run for your area?

I have also been told they have a shortage of subs and the
subs don't stay long. I have to wonder why.
