Greetings from the West Coast. On Sunday after church took
down the outside lights quickly using "easy reach" and step
stool. Much better than risking life and limp way up on the
roof. Only did lights lower down this year. Wrapped the
brick columns, wrapped the tree trunks, hung stuff from
window trim. Easy peazy! Removed timers and many extension c
ords and power strips. Did a good job raking the last of
the leaves.
I have to say most people in my neighborhood no longer put
up lights. The last four years the trend as been downward.
Considering in 1995 when houses were new everyone put up
lights. Some fanatic people even did lights on every square
inch of roof, lawn, gutters, peaks, trees. Too much. So just
few are perfect!
We took down half the tree inside and the lights are all
that is left. So much work!
Have a great 2016
