Well any of you working on the dreaded tax forms yet?
WHEW! So far teacher wife retired so many extra 1099 forms
this year and a w-2. We already pay estimated taxes. Plus
this year I turn 70 1/2 so the dreaded IRS RMD occurs. I
know the amount needed to be taken out so the CPA can figure
that into estimated taxes. Our CPA said that is a good thing
to worry about and not a bad thing. Meaning we are set up
for a good retirement.
If you don't do the RMD it is a 50 percent penalty. Have to
do it right! That is like woodshop measure twice and cut
once!
Hopefully this is all in the mail to the tax guy by Monday!
He is retied and really a fair deal and good price.
Have a nice tax season.
