I went to a UEA retirement seminar and I realize i
cannot retire next year as I had planned. My
husband's job loss on top of the pittance I would
get from TRS would put us on welfare. It was
suggested that I find a job that paid into TRS, but
which was not a teaching job such as school
secretary or working as an administrator at a
community college. I was wondering if anyone has
taken this option and if it has worked out for them.
