Well supposedly the North Slope Super is one of three finalist for a job in another district. His wife did not get her contract renewed in an effort by the district to get him to quit. They do that to teaching couples on a regular basis. Contracts are going out and as usual several folks are not being offered contracts. Guess things have not really changed much.

Alaska teacher She has been married to him for years, so not sure what you mean. From what I have seen and heard from folks in Barrow she does a better job than most in the central office. The office there can't do much of anything. They took applications and documents for new teachers in August and still haven't gotten them to the state to get the teachers licen...See More

TT I read the Blankenships both resigned from North Slope. I wonder if the great Trent will end up down here in Nevada. I hope to heck not.

Anonymous Actually, she was the only one actually working. The super playes computer games all day in his office, and his other Wyoming buddies act like they know what their doing while actually taking credit for everyone else's work. Anon I agree with the last post. Especially stay away from a certain Wyoming buddy that oversees maintenance and the business office...
