I just received my statement of eligibility! The problem here is that i'm out of state. I'm looking to move back to FL and would like to work in Hillsborough. I'm hoping to get a teaching job (Elementary) for the 2014-15 school year. I know that I will not be asked for interviews or anything until after the hiring freeze is over. Is there anyone on this board that got a job in Hillsborough being out of state? If so, how did you complete the interview portion? Did you fly in and interview, over the phone, lined up interviews over a couple days for diff. schools and flew in for those? Thank you for any future input.

For some schools, like smaller ones and charter schools, they gave me interviews...See More

I'm making plans to attend to job fair this coming summer, many people said most that most people that attend the fairs get hired on spot at the fair. Although, it is not a cheap "expense" to travel down for a whole day of interviewing and nothing turn up for it...See More
