Hi. I am interested in becoming a teacher, but am unsure as to what direction to take. I have a BA degree in philosophy and I want know the best way to use this degree to become a teacher. I'm not sure about what grades I would like to teach, either. Can someone please guide me in the right direction. I have tried to research the local universities (I live in the Leavenworth area) to try to determine which route to go, but it seems very confusing to me. Please help. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Flintstones The Kansas City Kansas School District has a fellows program. If you already have a BA they will send you to school and pay for a masters degree. If you don't have a degree go to Avila College and they will help you towards teaching certification. I went there and they are a great school. You can always take your general courses at JUDCO in Overlan...See More
