I have a level 2 teacher license in NM and taught for four years I then moved to Arizona and taught for a few years and got my masters degree. I am moving back to NM and see that I can move to level 3 without a dossier because of my out of state teaching ex. and of course my masters has anyone else done this and did it work out??
Rosemary You need to talk to the PED -- State Public Ed Department. Level 3 also depends on "leadership" roles within the school, etc. The dossier is one method to move from level 1 to level 2, but only the State PED can decide what you need to do. My own experience is the Masters helps w/$, but not really licensure level.
