Does anybody else wonder how we Ohio teachers are supposed to pay for our Masters degree when we can't get a job to pay for our education?

There's no reason to assume people can't comprehend, J.... If you re-read my post, you'll see that I ever so briefly addressed the OP's concern ("While this is better.....") I didn't have the answer to the problem, so I didn't offer one. CB I didn't feel the need to address the job situation. I DO feel incredibly bad for individuals who are waiting for positions, and I DO understand how difficult it is to get a position. But these issues have been addressed on this forum time and time again in the three or four years I have been visiting.

Amazing If you get ANY reimbursement for tuition count yourself lucky. I have lived in two other states, one in the south and the other out west, and neither district reimbursed us for anything. One state, in the south, does have a HOPE scholarship for teachers. If you work in a critical need area you could have some of your master's paid for as long as yo...See More
