Has anyone heard about PEIA wanting to drop insurance for teachers making less than 70,000 a year. The state wants them all to sign their kids up for WV CHIPS program and no longer offer family insurance plans. I don't think there is a teacher in WV who makes more than 70,000 a year unless their county is giving them a huge supplemental pay to go along with the states base pay. I knew if they were offering a raise they would go after health benifits. New teachers already dont have insurance when they retire from teaching and now they after everyones too.
former teacher That just gives teachers another reason to change professions!!
