    Hi all,

    I'm looking for recommendations for good
    schools in Queens for an ELA high school
    position. I have 6 years of experience and
    highly effective ratings; my priorities
    are working with students who are closer
    to being on grade level (right now I'm
    essentially teaching at a 6th grade
    level), a more collegial/collaborative
    atmosphere and for a principal who is
    reasonable with the ratings system.
    Culturally diverse schoola are a plus as
    well as a strong union presence and a
    community of veteran teachers I can learn
    more from. I'm not looking to work for the
    top 10 in the city, just a more middle-of-
    the-road school. Any leads? Thanks.
