    I am currently in my 4th year working at a BOCES high school. I am very
    unhappy there. I am interviewing for a position in a school I have been
    trying to get into for many years. The position would probably want me to
    start asap. My contract says teachers need to give 30 days notice. My
    question is, how would I go about asking if I could be released from my
    contract early? Who do I go to? I will give some notice (2 weeks ) but I not
    sure if I could wait a month to start the new position.
