    There is almost no demand for Social Studies teachers in
    Texas, not unless you coach or know someone in the district
    who can hire you.

    To add a teaching field to your certificate you do not have to
    take any classes or complete any coursework. All you need to
    do is pass the appropriate TeXas exam, and then pay the fee to
    have it added to your certificate.
