National Teacher Of The Year Award -- a program
which recognizes teachers for their dedication and outstanding accomplishments.
Over the past six years the program has received tens of thousands of
nominations for teachers across the country.
"The Chadwick's of Boston Teacher of the Year Program recognizes the
tremendous accomplishments of teachers nationwide. Each year we receive
thousands of nominations describing the outstanding work of nominees and their
dedication to their community, their schools and most importantly, their
students," explains Cathy Fultineer, Executive Vice President, Chadwick's

Nomination Process
The 2003 Chadwick's of Boston National Teacher of
the Year Award is open to the public; all schoolteachers from
kindergarten through twelfth grade are eligible to be nominated (must be
residents of the U.S.). To nominate a teacher for the 2003 Chadwick's of
Boston National Teacher of the Year Award, simply print or
type 250 words or less detailing how the teacher has made a positive impact upon
the community, the school, the class and/or the students. Nominations should be
either emailed to cobteacher@aol.com or mailed to: Teacher of the
Year Award, c/o Mail Boxes Etc., 946 Great Plain Avenue, Box 151,
Needham, MA 02492. (Be sure to include your name, address and phone number, and
the nominated teacher's full name, school name, school address and school
phone number; additionally a return address should be clearly marked on the
outside of the envelope.)
Independent Judging Panel of Educators Selects Regional Winners
A panel of judges, consisting of college and university educators, has been
assembled to review all nominations. The panel will focus upon the nominated
teacher's dedication, creativity, innovation and overall impact, as witnessed
in the text of the nomination. Ten regional winners will be honored. Each will
receive a $300.00 Chadwick's of Boston gift certificate, and each winner's
school will receive a $500.00 cash donation. Of the ten regional winners, one
will be selected as the national winner and will receive a $1,000 cash award.
His or her school will also receive an additional $1,000 cash donation. The 2003
Chadwick's of Boston National Teacher of the Year
will be featured in a future Chadwick's of Boston fashion catalog as well as
on the Chadwicks.com website.
Nominations must be postmarked by June 30, 2003. Regional winners will be
