    I was shocked as my daughter was Student Teacher in a
    Teaching Residency program at a private graduate
    institution in Southern California. She was placed into a
    acdemically low performing school where the Master Teacher
    was in fear of being fired by the Principal. Instead, the
    Principal fired the Student Teacher and there was no
    protection by the Teacher Department of the university by
    the Cooridnator of the program, who claimed that it was her
    fault. I am equally curious to know how common is this
    culture of fear? Iwould love to go in more details of what
    I witnessed.
