Only a School. Only a Teacher.
School is still, at its heart, a dance of men and women of character. A school is its teachers.

Harry & Rosemary Wong

ESL vocabulary lesson
http://www.teachertube.com/view_video.php?viewkey=963395fbab4a85d0b8f8
Although obviously homemade, this video is a wonderful example of ESL instruction using video implementation. It is a great jumping off point for you to use in your classroom, creating your own videos for vocabulary lessons, or even encouraging your students to create their own! (1:52)

I teach, therefore I learn
http://www.teachertube.com/view_video.php?viewkey=c50037072712f964cf5d
The story of a teacher who was on the brink of resignation, and what inspired her to stay committed to teaching. (6:20)

Ruben's Tube Physics Experiment
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HpovwbPGEoo
The classic physics experiment involving sound, a tube of propane and fire. Created for Flash Forward 2006, but useful in any case where you are not allowed to have fire. I push through the tube 449 Hz then higher frequencies, then some jazz and then some rock. This is real life sound visualization. (2:48)

Mother's Day Video: Kids Answer Questions About Their Moms
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVeo-3lwwa8
Happy Mother's Day! Second graders speak lovingly - but perhaps too candidly - about their mothers in this amusing video. (1:59)
