Our 3rd and 4th grade teachers along with our school was on year three
of the 'wonder curriculum' and our school dropped even more. Our
principal was strict about following the worksheets and the robotic
curriculum! Terrible scores and the new teacher who came to join our
STAAR team was a Cscope trainer and she knew the way! She said
CScope was great and there was no way but going up. How wonderful
said our principal because we would all understand the bigger picture.
How enlightening and convincing was this that when scores arrived, she
scored the lowest at our school! Oh, she knew everything! She did leave
and her lousy scores!! So don't clap for this so called wonder curriculum. I
knew it was trash from the beginning and still is!! The students in this city
will tell you how terrible it is and that is sad!!
Oh, by the way, her pearly teeth and zesty appearance brought her back as
an instructional coach. Oh, the district is still lousy along with hiring a
CSCope con artist and the sad thing is they obviously did not even look at
her lousy scores because Cscope is still the way! Hello--something is
really wrong with this scene!!
