We began the school year by discussing the different things to do at recess and putting them on this chart. Students decide before recesses what they will do or play. This helps to cut out recess problems!

Our Responsive Classroom Corner features our Hopes and Dreams, S. T. E. P. S instructions, I-Messages, the Friendship Fix-Its suggested by the students, and friendship and feelings books.

Our social studies board features information about the social studies topics, interactive bulletin board games (such as the one below), or student work.
