    Hello!
I have a B.A. in Psychology and recently decided to move
towards being an English teacher. First of all, I have 24
credits of English coursework, and I believe 30 are needed.
I was wondering if courses I have in classical myth (read
Ovid, Euripides, etc.) and Eastern religions (read the
Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads, etc.) can count towards my
content coursework. Second, I was wondering if anyone could
recommend the best way to do my teaching coursework. I've
seen some programs intended for people with B.A.'s but no
teaching courses. If anyone has experience applying to one
of these programs, or knows of a better way to get the
necessary coursework done, any advice would be appreciated.
Finally, I was wondering if there's any interim teaching
certificate I can get with my B.A. and passing necessary
exams, so that I may start getting teaching experience right
away. Is that a silly question? There are so many
resources and pathways to navigate through, and help would
    be much appreciated! Thanks!
