I made a decision that I would not take classes this year so
I can concentrate on work and have time to get together with
family. The only problem is my mentor.
Last week when I said I was not doing classes on weekends
she expected me to meet her on Saturdays to work. Last
Saturday I told her I was not available as I was going home
to visit my family. She was not happy and sent me several
texts all weekend inquiring about what I had done for school.
She wants me there this Saturday at 8 in the morning and to
plan on being at school with her on Saturdays from 8 until
we finish. I told her I could do that sometimes but not
every Saturday.
I have a wedding in my family coming up. This week all my
work was ready and I have got a jump on the next week.
Still she wants to plan for the whole term, review the work
from the past week, and a lot of other things I can do
myself. She is not flexible.
What can I do? Things are fine in every other way. I love
the kids and we get along great.
