    how do I go about landing a full time position as a T.A. in
    NY if I have only been substituting for a year?

    I have been on recent interviews thinking that I have landed
    the job, but I am perplexed on what they are looking for?

    In all of the interviews they have asked me questions on
    familiarity of the latest lesson tools being used ( phonics,
    or computer based programs) or how to handle various
    scenarios that happens in a classroom.

    could someone give me some advice plz
