Post: 1st year has to be mentored to count for 3 years?

    I was a sub for 4 years and I recently was told that in
    order for me to get my professional certification I must
    have one year with a mentor. Is this information accurate?
    I was told before that being a substitute teacher counts for
    that experience. Please if anyone has any information out
    there on this please share. Thanks!
