I am on record on this chatboard many times for saying that
teachers of split grades should get paid more (even though
the last time I taught a split was before the millenium).

And listen, wherever you are, what you teach is really not
important - how you teach/engage with your students is what
counts. Content changes! When I started teaching, the
brontosaurus was still a dinosaur and Pluto was a planet.
Don't get stuck on content. Process is way more important.
