The Teachers of Tomorrow (TOT) program recognizes
educators like you who have chosen to start and continue
their DOE career in a high-needs school. As a TOT Award
recipient, you are eligible to receive $3,400 for each year of
service at your TOT school, for up to four consecutive years
(totaling up to $13,600)[1] after beginning your teaching
career.

Most recipients will receive their TOT Award via direct
deposit on Tuesday, December 15, 2015. (Recipients not
enrolled in direct deposit will receive instructions about how
to pick up payment by check.)

Our 2,500+ TOT recipients serve in high-need school
communities throughout our City and return each year to
renew their commitment to their students and colleagues. If
you are in your second, third, or fourth year of teaching, you
will have the opportunity to earn a continuing TOT award. [2]
And if this is your fifth year of teaching, thank you for your
continued commitment to your school community!
