Hello Everyone,

I am a Lecturer from India. I have completed Masters In
Mathematics from Pune University (India) and have 2+
years of teaching experience at college/university level.
So basically I was a Lecturer to engineering students for
Mathematics.
I want to get a high-school teacher job, but somehow I'm
not getting correct info about certification.

Question:
1. Do I HAVE to get college credits to appear for NY
teacher certification? Is there any way around to get NY
Teacher certificate without getting the college credits?

2. Would my previous experience in India be considered
here for Teacher certification under STEM?

3. On Initial certificate, I heard that the job I would
get, would not pay more than 30K P.A.? Is that true?
