Another good idea might be to contact any of the state colleges, as they will all offer the tests that are needed. I am glad to hear you are interested in coming to Kansas to teach! I teach in a very small north central Kansas school where we have had a hard time finding music teachers the past few years. We have had to settle for what was left and our music program has really suffered.
