Does anyone know if people with a low IQ who is on the
spectrum can be denied a drivers license? I just found out
that one SpEd student I had two years ago was taught by the
parents to drive using the approved State of Texas Drivers
Instruction. Trust me when I say this child has no business
driving on their own. The route to school includes busy six
lane roads and a toll road. The student has little impulse
control and is not independent at school. I am scared for
the safety of everyone concerned. Is this even possible?
