remedial reading help?
Hi, I was browsing your website today and hoping that maybe one of your readers has any suggestions for me. I have recently accepted a teaching job as a rem. reading teacher for students grade 6-8. Until now the students I helped were around 2 years below reading level. I have recently been servicing the 8th grade special ed students in my school that are between the first and third grade reading level. I have ordered several hi/lo books but I'm desperately looking for a phonics or more structured series to teach them basic skills. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. thank you, deborah
