I buy all my prof books with my own money. My district pays teachers the minimum scale amount and provides next to nothing in classroom supplies and resources. I just wanted to let others know the detailed info on the book, since the earlier edition is much cheaper. Sometimes I buy older editions to save money. Later, I may spring for the newest one if I'm really interested. I didn't mean to be snarky; I'm just really, really FRUGAL. Posts on this thread, including this one Pat.
