I'm recruiting participants for my doctoral research on neurodiversity and inclusivity in mainstream schools with an aim to better support teachers in future.
If you're a primary or secondary teacher working with neurodiverse children or young people, I'd love to hear from you.
The inclusion criteria are as follows:
Qualified teacher currently working in a primary or secondary mainstream school in England
Have worked with a young person who has a diagnosis of autism, ADHD, tic disorders, developmental language disorder, developmental coordination disorder, dyslexia, dyscalculia or intellectual disabilities or that self-identifies as neurodivergent in England (within a classroom setting or otherwise)
Fluent in English language
Willing and able to provide informed consent for the study
There is a £10 retail voucher on completion of an interview over Microsoft Teams, which should last between 40-60 minutes. I am also happy to provide the completed research study and can provide dissemination to participating schools, if interested.

Being related to a couple of teachers, I'm often reminded of how long it takes to mark and grade assignments. I'm not a teacher. I work in IT, so decided to build an app to help.
Its not perfect, but seems to be saving a lot of people a lot of time. If you have some scoring guidance or a rubric, just upload it, then select a load of assignments you want marked and it will do the leg work for you.

My name is Hope, and I am a final-year student at Sheffield Hallam University studying Physical Education and School Sport. For my final project, I want to create a website resource for a primary teacher to help create and enhance confidence when teaching PE. I am looking for a single participant who would talk through their personal strengths and barriers to PE confidence which can then be put into the website to help in future teaching. An example being if a barrier for you was knowledge of a particular sport, I would create a section on the website based on skill knowledge and some lesson ideas.
Whether you have very little confidence, are training to teach, or just want to enhance confidence, I feel my resource can be valuable.
