Oh, you can download the schedule from the website I
posted... but here it is - more or less:
M-Th 8:45-9:10 math tubs F logic puzzle or geography M-Th
9:10-9:25 sentence a day (not really four blocks, but I want
to do this.) 9:25-9:55- morning meeting, F it will be
9:10-9:25... MM often includes guided reading of scholastic
news for about 10-15 minutes 9:55-10:45 M/TH Writers Workshop
9:55-10:45 T/W word work 12:50-1:35 SSR Includes read aloud
1:35-2:35 T/TH/F science/social studies integrated into
guided reading
--- the only thing I can see changing is possibly doing
writing and word work daily by shortening each to 20-25
minutes... but that just seems too short for ww. Any ideas
or ways to help me out?
FYI- I teach a multi-age which is why I don't do word work
whole class, I end up using the second and third grade books
