My question is, what is the best assessment (or combination of assessments) for getting reading levels on the kids? I have the STAR assessment on my computers at school, but that is all I have. As of right now, I was planning on using a combination of that plus the reading a-z benchmark books and fluency assessments to decide if they are on grade level or not. But doing all of those running records will be extremely time consuming! If you have any other suggestion, I would really appreciate hearing them!!
