    Lisa,
    If you google "Lexile Level" and search around the Lexile site, I
    think you will find a chart with a comparison. Scholastic has a
    chart too comparing different leveling guides and it might have
    lexile levels (can't remember) It is sometimes hard to find but
    go to their site and put in "Book Level comparison" or "book level
    chart" etc. It is a pretty good chart to have on hand. Leveling
    books is an inexact science and most leveling charts use somewhat
    different criteria. So even if you know a "Grade level", lexile
    level or Reading Recovery level, books can vary in difficulty.
    After a child picks a book with their "level" they still need to
    know how to do the 5 finger test, or the Goldie Locks technique to
    choose a "good fit" book.
