    Granny, those are good ideas, but I'm wondering, could the SSR
    be a reading record or conference sheet for the TEACHER to use
    when conferencing with the individual student? Or do you think
    this binder is strictly for the student? I think that the
    writing section could also have a writing rubric. Guided reading
    section could include graphic organizers maybe? These are just
    some thoughts from a now retired first grade teacher who used 4
    Block for about 10 years. This binder could be an AWESOME tool
    for parent conferences!!
