I teach in California and I've been hearing a lot about all
the progress New York schools are making with impoverished
and/or second language learners. Our district uses Open
Court which does not seem to work with all students.

Are there any NY teachers who would be willing to share
what type of reading program is used and what a typical
daily reading schedule looks like?
