Re: What's the difference between 6 traits & Writer's Worksh
Posted by my 2 cents on 6/22/07

Writers workshop include the classroom set up and involves
    prewriting, writing,revision,editing, publishing. (The
    process).
The six traits involve conventions (punctuation, spelling,
grammar), voice, word choice, ideas/content, organization,
sentence fluency. This is what is graded in my schoo1. My
teaching points and modeling involve one of these traits. The
students observe my modeling and then are sent to writers
workshop to get involved in the process.

But don't quote me. Just my opinion.
