I love this idea!! I definitely think creating a whole dish
would be more in tune to the idea as "writing as a whole."
Creating the dish in class would be helpful to those students
that are visual learners. Reference could then be made back to
the making of the dish (as far as talking about how the steps
created the final product). Here are a few ideas of things to
make... Pizza: each ingredient represents a piece of
writing --> cheese, crust, sauce, toppings, etc.
Fruit Salad: each fruit a different trait Anything with
steps would work fine I think!! Thanks for the idea and good
