Post: 6+1 - Still a little lost

This was the first year we used the 6+1 Writing Traits in
our Language Arts program. Although we attended an
in-service on the topic, I'm still a little lost.
Can anyone describe - or attach a link or recommend a book
that explains - how to model the traits in a writing lesson?
