Post: Types of Jobs in ASL?

    Posted by Jenn on 6/19/08

Any help from anyone is appreciated!

I am a special ed teacher for K-12 but I am also currently
taking ASL classes and will be finished in a year. What
kinds of positions are out there for someone who wants to
teach the deaf or teach the hearing about the deaf? There
is a master's program near me that specializes in teaching
the deaf but I have not decided if I want to get another
master's degree. Plus I would only be able to take classes
in the summer (no night classes during the school year) so
it would take a long time to get.

Thanks for any ideas or suggestions!
