I completely agree with Janet. What are you waiting for? You
have more experience that most will have starting into that
field. I am just finishing up my masters in deaf education
and it is well known that sign language interpreters are
needed. Like Janet said, you should be able to test out of
some beginners ASL classes. Any more experience you can get
signing with the deaf population is the only thing I would
suggest....that you are doing already. Go for it!
